Cristina Bucci

Cristina Bucci has been a dynamic presence in the arts community for over two decades, making a lasting impact as a choreographer, performer, educator, producer, and mentor. In recognition of her outstanding contributions to dance in Canada, she was awarded the prestigious 2023 Jacqueline Lemieux Prize. Also a practicing nutritionist, Cristina created Nutrition for Dancers, a seminar she has presented across Canada and Japan. Her international highlights include teaching at the International Dance Seminar in Brazil, choreographing for Yarita Yu Ballet Company (Japan), presenting work at Dancing on the Edge, and receiving commissions from Lamondance Company.
Rina Pellerin

Rina’s versatility and artistry has allowed her to perform, judge, and compete across North America and Asia. She has received several scholarships and awards throughout her training, granting her the opportunity to study under pioneers of street dance and its founders. She is the winner of Vancouver Street Dance Festival 2012/2014/2015, Last One Stands 2014, and judged prominent street dance events such as Massive Monkees Day and Twice as Nice. Highlighted choreography credits include Dance Allsorts, New Works Season Launch, Dancing on the Edge, Cypher Fest, Bumbershoot, Shambhala Music Festival, Dance in Vancouver, and Seattle International Dance Festival.
Eric Cheung

Eric Cheung is a street dance artist based in Vancouver and a company member of OURO Collective, partaking in creating HAKO, SOTTO51, Fire06, and 7y98D. Eric explores different mediums to further expand the boundaries of street dance in film, theatre, new media, fashion, and Virtual Reality (VR). He has participated in and developed several projects, including E_GO, I(n)finite, Re:1974, ice, wave, and eyes. Eric is pursuing a VR dance project with the Museum of Other Realities (MoR) entitled ALT. Eric has also recently received the Chrystal Dance Prize through Dance Victoria.
Ash Cornette

Born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Germany, Ash has always gravitated to music. Ash found percussion, saxophone, and piano at an early age. His dance reflects his musicality, and his movement highlights acoustic rhythm. Ash is a
B-boy artist who placed the North West on the map. His detailed footwork, flow, and Breaking foundation have allowed him to share his craft across the globe. He has won titles, such as Massive Monkees Footwork Champion and Vancouver Street Dance Breaking Champion, and has performed alongside OURO Collective since 2019. He now calls Vancouver home.
Ganna Martynova

Ganna began her dance journey as a child with a Ukrainian folk ensemble in Odessa. Years later, she discovered street dance and immersed herself in styles like Hip Hop, House, and Locking. While she enjoys many forms, House dance became her true passion. She has taught workshops, performed, judged, and competed across Canada, the U.S., and Europe. A member of Vancouver’s OURO Collective, Ganna also helped organize the Vancouver Street Dance Festival, hosting battles, sessions, and training programs. Her work uplifts the community and promotes the culture and history of street dance.
Kinui Oiwa

Kinui Oiwa is a Japanese contemporary dance artist based in Vancouver, Canada & Tokyo, Japan. Kinuitrained at PNSD Rosella Hightower and earned a dance diploma with the Cannes Junior Ballet Company. In 2018, Kinui joined Balletto di Roma, touring Europe and performing works by Davide Bombana, Itamar Serussi, Fabrizio Monteverde, and Andrea Martini. In 2022, Kinui joined OURO Collective, performing 7y98d and Ouroboros. Kinui has also worked commercially with OCIN, Lululemon, Vancouver Opera, and Canon, gaining experience in motion capture, commercials, and music videos. Kinui and collaborator Eric Cheung recently received the Chrystal Dance Prize 2024/25.
